Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian songwriter and singer. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as folk and alternative rock and pop, however she also draws influences from jazz and hip-hop. She is widely considered to be a feminist icon. Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement. She was one of the first artists to create her own label 1990.
