Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first music album called This is Tina Time. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic released in 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the movie. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
